Linear Accelerator

PENTA worked with the manufacturer and user groups to accurately install Varian’s TrueBeam Linear Accelerator inside the fully operational facility. Our team incorporated renovations to the oncology department’s offices, control room, machine area, as well as installing updates to the fire sprinkler system.

Working closely with the design team and end user, our team worked to realize the vision of a spa-like space. The intent of the space, provide a relaxing environment for the patient during their cancer treatment, included installing stone walls and tropical ceiling.

Working with Varian, our team gained a thorough understanding of the specific expectations required to correctly and efficiently install the equipment. A key to our planning was ensuring the ability to install the equipment within a tight space.
