Durango Medical Health Center

The Durango Health Center is a 97,868-square-foot, two-story healthcare campus developed for the Culinary Health Fund on a 9.21-acre site in Las Vegas, Nevada. Designed as a comprehensive wellness destination, the facility provides a wide range of services under one roof, including primary care, dental services, physical therapy, pharmacy, diagnostic imaging, and health education programs.

 

Delivered using an Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) approach, PENTA collaborated closely with the owner and design partners to maximize value, streamline decision-making, and support the long-term vision for the Culinary Health Fund’s growing healthcare network. The facility features more than 70 exam rooms, a drive-thru pharmacy, administrative offices, classrooms, and a physical therapy gym, creating a convenient, patient-centered experience for members and their families.

 

Architectural highlights include ultra-high-performance concrete (Taktl) panels, a signature “DNA Screen” skylight feature, and thoughtfully integrated interior and exterior wellness-focused design elements. As the first ground-up healthcare facility in the Culinary Health Fund’s master-planned expansion program, the Durango Health Center serves as a model for future healthcare campuses throughout the Las Vegas Valley.
